On the surface, it might seem that a sparkling new industrial-themed facility opened in 2017 was the tipping point for The Foundry. No doubt, it’s a state-of-the-art salon. It features 20 stylist chairs including both full-service women’s and men’s styling and traditional men’s barbering, a wash lounge with 9 chairs for shampooing and mini-facials, and a large, open color lab where guests can see firsthand how Organic Pure Care colorings are formulated. In an open reception area, guests can enjoy a beverage while browsing a selection of hair care and styling products.
From the start, Craig and Corbin shared a different vision, one bigger than even the Texas-sized facility they now call home. They have an unwavering commitment to finding, cultivating, and mentoring up-and-coming stylists. New stylists are carefully selected in a New Talent Program, with a session starting this September, where Craig and Corbin can see firsthand how candidates learn and interact over the course of several days of instruction. Stylists also participate in ongoing team learning with guest instructors brought in to illustrate techniques. Additionally, stylists often donate efforts to community events.
